The Department of Trade and Industry in Bohol held the Sandugo Trade Expo on July 21-25, 2010 showcasing products and services of various SMEs around Bohol and Region 7. The newly introduced Abatan River tourism project was also showcased in a program on July 24, 2010. Auza.Net selected the winner of the Website Design Contest for 2010 during the Sandugo Trade Expo at the Island City Mall. The winning entry was submitted by Mary Lee Calope, a BS Computer Engineering Student at the Bohol Island State University. The sponsoring organization is the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary of Tagbilaran City. Ms. Calope will receive Php5,000 cash prize while IHMS will get a one year free subscription to Auza.Net’s Website Management package. The winning entry also got the highest number of votes for the popularity criteria. The Website Management package includes website hosting service, website maintenance, email setup and initial website implementation. Auza.Net assures its customers of availability of support personnel who will make sure any issues are resolved in the quickest possible time. The company employs Cloud Computing for its website servers and this helps ensure that downtime is minimized due to the redundant nature of cloud computing.
