How can cloud computing help my business?

In recent years, cloud computing has become a buzzword and proponents are saying that huge business benefits can be derived from cloud computing. But what is cloud computing really? Most users would be surprised if they are told they have been using cloud computing since they started using Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and many other popular websites. Due to the scale of computing power required by these websites, it makes sense to organize servers to act as if they are one machine. This way, any hardware that break down can be taken offline, then replaced without disrupting service. Then out of this one huge “server”, virtual servers or even desktops can be created which then can act as individual computers. These virtual servers can then be configured to have any resource size. For example, from the server farm, one can create a virtual server with 256MB RAM and 4 CPUs and other with 4GB RAM and 8 CPUs. These virtual servers can be created and taken down...

Auza.Net Offers Free Listing on Bohol.Info Business Directory

Auza.Net is kicking off data collection for its latest website project www.bohol.info on April 18, 2013 at the Island City Mall, Tagbilaran City.  The website is a business directory that gives micro and small businesses the opportunity to have an online presence via a web page on www.bohol.info for free.  If needed, a webpage may be claimed by the business owner so that he can update the page as needed when promotions change. The data collection is a two month event where business owners will have the opportunity to have their businesses listed or updated and also learn more about www.bohol.info.  The website currently has about four thousand entries already and is actively used by the early adopters Auza.Net has invited in the past few months. Bohol.Info is unique among the other online business directories focusing on Bohol because aside from the usual online marketing efforts, Auza.Net will also promote Bohol.Info via traditional means like newspapers, radio, mall events and banners in strategic areas around the province.  The “offline” promotions will commence by May 2013. Business owners are invited to try www.bohol.info to promote their companies and their products and services and enjoy the ability to update their Bohol.Info webpage anytime for two months.  All they need to do is purchase at least Php150 from any establishment within ICM and present the receipt to the Auza.Net staff at the Bohol.Info booth near the activity center. A Bohol.Info web page is a much cheaper alternative compared to a regular website in order to have an online presence.  Plus there is the benefit of local “offline” promotions.  Already there are purchasing...

Auza.Net Celebrates DYRD-AM Worldwide 5th Anniversary with Android™ App Release

Auza.Net celebrates the 5th year anniversary of its information technology enabled live broadcast of DYRD-AM worldwide with the launch of its first mobile application for the Android™ based mobile devices. The free DYRD-AM Worldwide android app is available for free download on its website at www.auza.net , on the DYRD-AM website at www.dyrdam.com and on the Google Play store beginning July 8, 2012. Exactly five years ago today, Auza.Net and Bohol Chronicle Radio Corporation engaged in a pioneering partnership that brought the live news and public affairs programs of DYRD-AM to listeners worldwide through the www.dyrdam.com website. The launch of the worldwide broadcast changed the local broadcasting industry because now Boholanos from around the world are able to keep themselves updated with the happenings in the province as if they were here. They are also able to provide feedback and greetings through the website. With mobile Internet becoming very prevalent in many countries, the two companies believe that the DYRD-AM Worldwide mobile app is a fitting update to the media streaming technology employed on the website. The mobile app allows users to listen to the radio station’s broadcast while on the move as long as the user has connection to the Internet. Aside from releasing the mobile app, Auza.Net also updated DYRD-AM’s streaming server system allowing for studio quality audio. At the same time, the live video feed now implemented using the UStream service which enables viewing of the video directly on the website. The DYRD-AM Worldwide app is initially available on the android platform but will be available on the iOS (iPhone/iPad) platform soon. The app allows users...
