The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 781 out of 1,388 passed the various grades of the written phase of the Marine Engineer Officer’s Licensure Examinations given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila this May 2011. Meanwhile, another graduate of the Philippine Maritime Academy – Bohol has passed the recent Licensure Examination with flying colors. Angelito Bacolod Cordilla, landed 6th place in the Licensure Examination for Second Marine Engineer Officers. He tied with a fellow examinee in the person of Francis Cui Bernad from the Misamis Institute of Technology. Cordilla had the final average of 88. 25. This is highly recommended especially in places where there is really no WiFi signal in the first place, or when you are not likely to use it. 3. Turn off Blue-tooth. This is not just a battery life-saver tip, it also helps keep your phone secure by not being visible to other users. 4. Turn off push mails and notifications; avoid auto-checking lots of email accounts. This helps minimize the activities of your phone.
