Auza.Net conducts OJT interview, chooses 4

Auza.Net has received numerous OJT applicants for the 2011 Summer OJT Program. Last week, a mass interview was conducted at the K of C Recreation Center. Out of the 72 applicants, only 32 were actually interviewed. Series of short skill tests were performed by the applicants from english skills to basic software and networking. Out of the individual results and scores, four were chosen to be the Summer OJT Training Program “scholars”. OJT applicants Jay Paul Aying (University of Bohol); Zosie May Ornido (BISU – Calape); Erwin Labor (BISU – Main); and Princess Malou Longjas (BISU – Main) were chosen based on their performance in the series of short skills tests and interview that were conducted. The rest of the applicants and other interested students, instructors or IT enthusiasts can still participate in Auza.Net’s new, more improved training program by enrolling for the 300-hour skills training. Just drop by Auza.Net’s K of C Recreation Center Office (Internet Media Center) and look for Theresa, or give us a call at 501-8459. Share...

TechTalk: This is IT! — Auza.Net offers Practical Training Program for IT students

The world of information technology is moving fast. IT Jobs demand broad knowledge of IT concepts and meaningful experience. Basic IT education may not be enough to get IT graduates to land in IT jobs. Auza.Net fills the gap between basic IT education and employment by providing a training program that integrates theory, current IT trends and actual implementation of IT enabled business processes. In addition to lectures and drills, the students are given real-world assignments used in real products and services to allow them to gain the experience, exposure and confidence to tackle challenges on the job. The trainees will meet with real clients, potential customers, suppliers and partners to discuss and work on their practical assignments. Trainees go through a 300 hour learning program that covers computer skills, network theory, Linux and open source applications, website and online store development, structured cabling, technical communications, network security, tactical troubleshooting and more. Auza.Net has lined up resource persons who have extensive experience in the IT supply chain, software development, English communications and Internet marketing. The program is also supported by Raynetworks, Inc., PhilNITS, Bohol ICT Council and IsolationIQ.
